我们天生一对

因为今天是5.20,对于情侣们来说是很喜庆的日子(也许有一部分人选择在今天领证哦),所以我很想写写:“天生一对”用英语如何说。^^

最简单的说法是”perfect match“。如:

You two make a perfect match.

这一说法在许多美剧中都能听到的。把”match”用”couple”替换一下,当然也可以,于是就成了”perfect couple“。如:

Tom and Lynette are no doubt a perfect couple.

Cool Umbrellas Collection

An umbrella is indispensable in our lives. We use it to protect ourselves against raindrops as well as sunlight. Well, most of umbrellas that we see in real life are ordinary ones: a long stick with a circular folding frame covered in cloth on the top.

But, like something else, there are always unordinary designs for it. Creation lies in everywhere.

The first one shown in the post is a double umbrella, which is quite suitable for couples. So it can be a perfect gift candidate for Valentine’s Day, right?

英语中的’(apostrophe)如何使用

“apostrophe”,即我们说的“撇号、所有格符号”。

在英语中,缩写时,如you are 缩为 you’re;表示某(些)人所有时,如 Jessie’s,都能发现需要用到’ (apostrophe)。
